Incretin mimetics are derivatives of GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide) which stimulate insulin secretion, supress glucagon secretion, delay gastric emptying, decrease appetite and promote weight loss.
Prandial Glucose Regulators are amino acid derivatives and stimulate endogenous insulin secretion. Ideally, they are to be taken immedaitely before food.
